Cesar Lemos

I started playing tennis at age 4 when my father gave me a racket and we began playing together. By age 6, I knew I wanted to be a professional. I train at Escuela de Tenis Dronov and consider myself a good player because I train hard, apply what I learn, and respect my opponents. My goal is to be a professional and the world’s number 1. My favourite player is Novak Djokovic — I’d love to play with him and take him to a Capoeira roda with Mestre Rasta. I admire his fitness, flexibility, game, and mindset. A special Vanguard Stars 2023 moment was being interviewed in Vilamoura. The circuit taught me to control nerves, analyse opponents, and make friends. I’ve played in Madrid, Lisbon, Porto, and Vilamoura, with Porto as my favourite. I love the ceremonies, trophies, and prizes. In my free time, I play video games, watch TV, and play chess. My biggest supporters are my family and coaches.
