José Dronov Merlos

I train at Pinares de Lepe, Estévez Sports, and started playing tennis at the age of 2, introduced by my father, who is a coach. I love the sport and consider myself a good player because I always give my best and have many friends off the court. My idol is Dominic Thiem and one day I’d like to play Wimbledon or another Grand Slam. At Vanguard Stars, my favourite moment was the opening ceremony in Vilamoura, during my first tournament. This event is special for its format, prizes and organisation, and it helps me grow for the future. My biggest dream is to be an ATP player and my ideal world would be free from injustice and global issues like covid-19.
