Ayla Lahbabi Babaali

I was born in Seville and started playing tennis at 4 years old. My mom played padel and I liked watching her play. When I was 4, she gave me a tennis racket as a gift, and the next year we switched to tennis because my cousins already played tennis. I train at Rio Grande. I consider myself a good player because I never give up and keep a positive attitude, regardless of the match result. My biggest goal in tennis is to get a college scholarship in the United States and try to become a professional player. My favorite tennis player is Aryna Sabalenka. I would like to train with her. What I like most about my favorite player is that she always attacks and never plays defensively. One of the most fun moments during a Vanguard Stars stage was in Seville, where I made many new friends and we stood up to dance even though the songs made us sad. And I won the third star. I think through the Vanguard Stars circuit I improved my ability to try harder in matches because the games are shorter. I participated in the Porto and Seville stages. The stage I liked most was Seville. What I like most about the Vanguard Stars circuit is the fun environment and the organization of the matches; the organizers are very kind. What I like to do in my free time is talk with my friends. My ideal world would be a world in peace and without children suffering from hunger. The people who help me the most are my parents and family because they are always by my side in good and bad times.
