David Strecht Ribeiro

I train at Clube de Ténis do Jamor and started playing at 4 years old, after watching people play near my home. Since then, tennis has been my passion. I believe I’m a good player because I keep a positive attitude, respect my opponents and always give my best. My idol is Rafael Nadal, and I’d tell him he’s my example and I want to be like him. My dream is to beat the best players and become world number 1. My favourite player is Pedro Sousa, I admire how he behaves on and off the court. At Vanguard Stars, the best part is being with friends, because it’s a tournament that values fair play and friendship. My biggest dream is to be number 1 and live in a world with peace, without hunger or pollution.
