Jordi Fernández Rodriguez

I train at Club Tenis Aguadulce and started playing at 5, after practising with my dad at home, hitting balls hanging from strings. I play right-handed and consider myself a good player because I’m fair, don’t call balls out unless I’m sure, stay calm and congratulate opponents on great points. My idol is Federer and I’d love to be like him. One day I want to be a professional and rank in the world’s top 10. At Vanguard Stars, I love the opening ceremony and when “the stars” dance. This tournament is special because it has prizes, mascots, players from different countries and lots of fun, even when I lose. My dream is to become a professional player and my ideal world would be free of wars, diseases and bad people, with more respect, kindness and fun.
