Juan Torralba Soto

I started playing tennis when I was 4 because I used to play doubles with my grandpa, dad, and uncle. I train at the Madrid Tennis Federation and Chamartín Tennis Club. I consider myself a good player because I always fight and want to improve. My biggest goal is to win the US Open. My favourite tennis player is Rafa Nadal — I’d love to rally with him. I admire his tennis, effort, determination, and how he never shows bad behaviour. One funny moment during the Vanguard Stars 2023 was in Lisbon: I thought I was done for the day, went to the hotel, and suddenly got called for another match! Thanks to the circuit, I improved my serve and focus from the first ball. I played in Madrid, Lisbon, Porto and Vilamoura — Porto was my favourite. What I like most about the Vanguard Stars circuit is meeting players from other countries and the tournament format. In my free time, I enjoy playing football, hanging out with friends, and watching funny and cooking videos. My ideal world is one where everyone gets along and is happy. The people who help me most are my parents, grandparents, teachers, and my coach Sergi.
