Martim Gomes

I started playing tennis at 7, inspired by my older brother. At the time, I was already playing football and surfing, but I insisted with my mother until she let me try a tennis class — from that day on, I never stopped. I consider myself a good player because I respect principles and rules, always showing fair play. My idol is Federer, and one of my dreams is to become a professional player. At Vanguard Stars tournaments, I always feel a special atmosphere: great organization, amazing partners, and an energy that truly promotes tennis in Portugal. My biggest dream is to become a modern house builder, have a family, and keep enjoying tennis as an adult. In my ideal world, people would always help each other.
