Paula Cuevas

I was born in Jerez de la Frontera and started playing tennis at the age of 8, after watching my father and brother train — it looked like a lot of fun. I play with my right hand and I train at Club Nazaret.
I consider myself a good player because I have a positive attitude and respect my opponents.
My biggest goal in tennis is to become the number one in the world.

My favorite tennis player is Aryna Sabalenka, and what I like most about her is that she is very brave and a real fighter. If I had the chance, I’d love to train with her and have a conversation to learn more.

One of the most fun moments I’ve had in the Vanguard Stars circuit was in Seville, when we were learning to dance.
The stage I enjoyed the most was also Seville, because I have many friends there.
I believe the circuit has helped me improve my mindset during matches.
What I like most about the Vanguard Stars circuit is the organization and the values it promotes.

In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and friends.
My ideal world would be one with peace and no hunger.
The people who help me the most are my dad, who is also my coach and supports me a lot, and my mom, who takes care of me with lots of love.
